Would you like to see how a outdoor campus game is created behind the scenes, discover the University of Warsaw from a different perspective, or perhaps you simply enjoy stepping into different roles and feel comfortable working with people?
Join the team behind UW Side Quest – a field game during which students will explore the University of Warsaw Library Gardens and the Main Campus, discover new places and learn more about the opportunities available at the University of Warsaw.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for checkpoint facilitators who will be stationed along the game route on the Main Campus and take on roles prepared by the organisers.
You don't need to come up with your own task or have any previous experience with campus games – we will provide you with a ready-made scenario and all the materials you need.
Your role will be to:
- prepare your checkpoint,
- introduce participants to the task prepared by the organisers,
- help create the atmosphere of the game,
- guide participants through the task and enjoy the experience with them 🙂
We especially welcome members of the UW community who enjoy working with people, have a bit of an acting flair or simply want to try something new.
When?
You can join:
UW Side Quest in English
22 October, 16:00–18:00.
Before the game starts, we will meet with all checkpoint facilitators to go through the tasks and get ready for the roles. For this reason, please make sure you are available from 15:15 to 18:00 on 22 October.
And afterwards? Everyone who would like to stay is invited to a get-together at UCW! ✨
Why join?
It is a great opportunity to:
- get a behind-the-scenes look at how a campus game is created,
- try yourself in an unusual role,
- meet new people from the UW community,
- help create an event for fellow students,
- see the campus from a completely different perspective,
- and receive a small surprise 👀
How to apply?
Send an email with title 'UW Side Quest' to wolontariat@uw.edu.pl until 13 September 2026, 12:00.
Choose your checkpoint, step into your role and become part of UW Side Quest!
