Whether you're looking to expand your academic or social circle, this is the place to be! You’ll also pick up some useful intercultural communication skills that will help you navigate diverse social and professional settings.

Throughout the session, we will explore:

  • How to effectively network in diverse settings
  • How to navigate interactions with people from various cultural backgrounds with ease and respect
  • How to avoid misunderstandings in a diverse team
  • How to build an active academic community outside of regular academic classes

By the end of the workshop, you will not only have expanded your network but also gained confidence in communicating across cultures, making this an invaluable experience for both your studies and life beyond university.

We encourage all current UW students to actively participate in the workshops! The working language will be English, so a good command of spoken English is important.
