As the Christmas season draws near, bringing with it a spirit of joy, generosity and support, we warmly encourage you to take part in our annual initiative. This year, together with the Korotyński Intergenerational Activity Centre, we would like to invite you to create Christmas decorations for the small patients of the Children’s Memorial Health Institute.
Alongside the decorations we prepare together, we will also include artworks made by the kindergarten and the nursery associated with the University of Warsaw. In this way, the youngest ones will join us in this magical, intergenerational mission.
We have prepared two workshop dates for you to choose from:
- 10 December (Wednesday), 4 pm to 6 pm, Korotyński Intergenerational Activity Centre, 13 Korotyńskiego Street (Ochota district) - At this time, we are registering participants only on the waiting list for the workshop.
- 16 December (Tuesday), 4 pm to 6 pm, Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw, 56/66 Dobra Street (BUW building) - At this time, we are registering participants only on the waiting list for the workshop.
Why join the Mission: Christmas Tree? You’ll:
- spend a nice afternoon doing something meaningful for others.
- meet new people in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- bring joy to small patients who spend Christmas in hospital.
- feel the festive spirit and take a break from everyday routines.
- become part of a mission that brings generations together.
All volunteers will receive a certificate after the workshop.

- Please note: around 20–30 people will take part in each workshop, which means there will be louder sounds and conversations. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether to join.
