At the Volunteer Centre UW, we know that intergenerational cooperation has real power! We have proved that, by working together, we can achieve a lot — whether creating festive decorations for lonely older people, toys for animals in shelters, or surprise parcels for children from Ukraine.
This time, we have been invited to collaborate with the Senior Club in Ursynów.
How can you get involved? Share your knowledge and passion — organise a meeting on 8 December on a topic of your choice.
When and where?
8 December, 12:30–13:30
Senior Club in Ursynów
Roald Amundsen 4, SMB Cultural Center "Imielin", Warsaw
(Local Branch No. 22 of the Warsaw Association of Pensioners, Retirees and People with Disabilities)
Who are we looking for?
UW student who will prepare an hour-long session for seniors.
You may propose a topic and deliver the presentation as a pair.
Format of the meeting
A presentation that includes interactive elements for participants.
It is also worth reserving time for questions — the entire meeting will last about 60 minutes.
The presentation should be engaging, with content delivered in a clear and accessible way, taking into account the diversity of the audience.
The meeting can be held in English. VC UW will provide a Polish translator.
Topic
Anything you enjoy talking about!
It may relate to your field of study, your interests, or culture in a broad sense. Art, music, cuisine, languages, history, useful skills, and practical knowledge — this is a perfect opportunity to share what you consider important or inspiring.
We can’t wait to hear your ideas!
