As part of the third edition of the #interlab+ project run by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, an intercultural workshop was held on 10 October at the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw. It was an excellent opportunity to develop your intercultural communication skills, navigate more confidently in the university’s international environment, and meet students from different faculties.
During the workshop, participants explored both theoretical concepts and practical tools that facilitate everyday communication within the international academic community and beyond. They also learned, among other things:
- the basic theories of intercultural communication,
- how culture influences perception and attitudes toward the world,
- what cultural dimensions are and how they shape differences between cultures.
At the end of the session, all participants received certificates.
The workshop was led by an intercultural skills trainer with many years of experience working with the international academic community - Katarzyna Kucharska.
The project is carried out by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps.
